Cheese Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally, so you have two long pieces. Place them cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
